Biography





Kelly Wearstler is a famous American designer known for her enchanting take on interiors and luxury lifestyle. She has primed her lifestyle and design experience for resorts and hotels throughout the United States of America and abroad.
Her mother's career had a major influence on her at a young age.
She cites her style icons as Peggy Guggenheim and Doris Duke.






Personal life



She was born on 21st of November 1967 in Myrtle Beach, North Carolina.
Graduated from the Massachusets College of Art receiving bachelors in Interior Daesign and Graphic Design.


In September 1994, she was Playmate of the Month, using the pseudonym Kelly Gallagher, in Playboy. She used the money she made from posing in Playboy to pay off her student loans and help start her interior design business.


Later in that year she moved to Los Angeles hoping to work in the movie industry. She briefly worked on a low level job in the art apartment of the film "So I married an Axe Murderer" and decided not to pursue a career in the film industry. 

She also served as a judge on the Bravo network's interior design competition series Top Design (2008)



In addition to her creative work, Wearstler has published 3 books, Modern Glamour: The Art of Unexpected Style(2004), Domicilium Decoratus(2006) and HUE(2011).

She was named one of the best dressed of the year by Vogue magazine, honored as one of the elite Design 100 by Time style & Design, and has been on the Los Angeles Bestseller List




She is married to Brad Korzen and the couple have 2 sons named Oliver and Elliot. 
She currently works in Los Angeles and resides in Beverly Hills, California.
